My wife and I acquired a 2004 Toyota Matrix from Koop's in Vinton, Ia. We SO appreciated the low-key spirit there. The staff was VERY helpful and considerate! Even to the point that after we got home, noticed the fog lights weren't working (the bulbs were bad). Received a check to cover them from Jeremy! You know how you dread car shopping and going to most car dealers? If you’re like me and are in the same boat, go to Koop’s and ask for Jeremy. My husband and I needed to upgrade to what I call the "mommy mobile" and found just the place to do so. Jeremy was very helpful, honest, and really worked w/ us. We ended up w/ a really nice 2001 Town and Country LXI and just love it! Jeremy also made us aware of an extended warranty that was available. It was a great deal and he has continuously followed up w/ us regarding the status of it. Jeremy is not your typical car dealer. He really cares and does what he can for the customer. I'M NOT ORIGINALLY FROM THIS AREA, BUT ALL THE STAFF AT AT KOOP'S TREAT YOU AS IF THEY'VE KNOWN YOU FOREVER, ESPECALLY BEN AND JEREMY, THEY WERE GREAT TO DEAL WITH. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE, NOT LIKE THE BIG DEALERSHIPS. I LIVE IN MOUNT VERNON AND DROVE RIGHT BY ONE OF THE AREA'S LARGEST DEALERSHIPS TO GO TO KOOPS. | We purchased our 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan from Koop’s in the Summer of 2010, just prior to welcoming our twins boys into the world. We saw an online posting and thought the price looked right for a good looking van. After arriving in Vinton from our home in Cedar Rapids, Jeremy welcomed us and showed us the vehicles we were interested in. We were given plenty of time to drive them and ask questions on our terms. Koop’s gave us a fair trade on our existing vehicle and worked with us on tweaking the already fair listed price. The 3-month/3000 mile warranty gave us the confidence to buy that day, knowing we would be protected from getting a "lemon." While we did have one repair just beyond the warranty period (alternator), it has really been the only major issue we had and most importantly the van has does well carting our three kids and dog all around Iowa and to the East Coast on multiple occasions. Thanks to Jeremy and Koop’s for selling us a good vehicle at a good price in good working order. We’ll be visiting Koop’s again next time we look for a used set of wheels. McNary Family | |

| Jeremy Koopman at Koop’s Auto in Vinton has been doing service on our vehicles since they opened. Jeremy and his staff have always been prompt, fair and taken great care of our vehicle’s maintenance and repair needs, but a recent situation prompted me to write this message. We took our car to Koop’s because the engine was missing. The mechanics had determined the cause of the problem and ordered the new part. I picked up the car, paid for it and went on my way. Jeremy later called me to check in to see if the problem was remedied and also to tell me that we actually paid too much! Turns out there were two parts that were the "fix" for the car so Koop’s ordered both in, but only the one was needed, and the unused part accidentally added to our bill. Rather than let it go, Jeremy offered to refund the overcharge or put it on credit for our next maintenance visit. That one phone call tells me everything I need to know about the integrity of the guys at Koop’s. I often hear on the radio how car dealers/repair shops are "doing it right" - well we have one right here in Vinton that does it right and stands behind it. Mayhew Family | |

Koop’s has always had exceptional customer service. While I was living in Philadelphia I had a problem with my car, and I didn’t know who to trust to fix it. I was able to find a mechanic, and Jeremy talked to him to make sure that he did a good job and gave me a good price. He was even able to get me a discounted price on the labor. It was reassuring to know that even though I was 1,000 miles from home, Koop’s was still able to get my car fixed and make sure it was done right. Now I’m writing a testimonial to help reassure anyone else that may be interested in a used car purchase. Our purchase of a used 2006 Corolla went very smoothly. The car was in great shape. The online ad was accurate with no differences or surprises once looking it over in person. I also know we saved at least 20% over what a larger car lot would’ve gotten for the same purchase. It was well worth the 30 minute drive for the deal. Jeremy is the kind of salesperson you will not find at larger dealerships in larger cities. He was genuinely interested in our purchase satisfaction. He worked very well with our financier on the phone to iron out the details. I would not hesitate to do business again with Jeremy. Daughters 2006 Corrolla needed a belt change after our purchase as it was squeaking from time to time. I got a good feeling about your services the minute I walked in your door for the very first time. The car works great now and I don’t have to keep looking at the gauges every couple of minutes to see if the car is overheating. I owned five vehicles when Koop took over Ron’s Repair. I began business with Koop’s the first week they were open. I have had all five vehicles serviced and repaired at Koop’s and they have always done an excellent job at very reasonable rates. They also have a very good turnaround time on repairs and will try to get you back on the road in as quick as time as possible. I have also purchased a car from Koop’s for my daughter to drive to college in Philadelphia. Before she left for school I had Koop’s change her oil and at that time they did a detailed check of the car to be sure it was in excellent condition for the long trip.
